OLE Error

Hi,

I searched everywhere for an answer but no luck please let me if you
encounter this issue before and you have an answer.

We have this database (Access 2003) shared by 6 users. We have a linked
object that open a pdf file when clicked on. It works for all users except
one user. When the user click to view/open the linked file he gets the
following error:

Microsoft Office Access can't open the file containing the OLE object.
* you may have specified and invalid name or....
* the file you specified may not be available....

try one of the following:

* Make sure the file is available....
* Check the OLE Server' documentation......

I would try and see if the reference for OLE is registered. Go to tools\macro
start the visual basic editor, then tools\references and see if you have that
reference set.

I did check the reference. I do have this one checked: OLE Automation
