ole file address

I would like to create a query based on a table with an
ole object field. The query should extract the paths to
the files that are linked via the OLE object field.
e.g. if the ole object field of a record links to c:\x.xls
I would like to extract the string "c:\x.xls".

Any idea on how that can be done?
