When I start Access 2003, I immediately get the following error message - "A
problem occurred while Microsoft Office Access was communicating with the OLE
server or ActiveX Control. Close the OLE server and restart it outside of
Microsoft Office Access. Then try the original operation again in Microsoft
Office Access." When I click "OK", the error pops up again, in an endless
loop. I can't get to any menu item, or even close Access. I have to use the
Microsoft Office Application Recovery tool to close the program. I get this
message whether I am opening ANY existing database, or if I am opening Access
from the Progam Menu.
I have tried repairing the Office installation, and have completely
un-installed and re-installed Office 2003, and I still get this error.
Does anyone know how to 'close the OLE server and restart it outside
Microsoft Office Access'?
