I am running Windows XP with Office 97. While running
Access 97, it states that the OLESVR is not registered,
reload and register.
I have olesvr.dll and olesvr32.dll on both
c:\windows\system and the c:\windows\system32 directories.
I unloaded the Access 97 software and reloaded it from
the Office 97 disk but it did not clear up the problem.
I tried Start/Run/RegSvr32.exe (with the path to the
OLESVR.DLL. It stated that the OLESVR.DLL is not an
executable file and no registration helper is registered
for this file type.
I tried Start/Run/RegSvr32.exe (with the path to the
OLESVR.DLL and the OLESVR32.DLL. It couldn't find the
system\olesvr32.dll and it stated that the
c:\windows\system32\olesvr32.dll was loaded, but the
DLLRegisterServer entry point was not found. This file
cannot be registered.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Jim
