OLK 2000 - Archived items can't be deleted permanently

Hi,
I have set the option to permanently delete old items
that are 2 days old and it is not happening.
I have items in the folder that are more than 2 days old
and they are not permanently deleted. AutoArchive have
been turned on as well. Please kindly advise. Thank you.

AutoArchive works on the modified date of the message. This date changes
when you e.g. move a message, edit it and (in some cases) when the
virusscanner scans the attachment.
