olmapi32.dll since upgrading to Office 07

I am receing the below error in the event viewer/application.
Faulting application clientele.loader.exe, version 8.4.2594.36833, faulting
module olmapi32.dll, version 12.0.6211.1000, fault address 0x0004b1da.

This only started after I upgraded from 2003 to 2007. I have installed all
updates including the SP1 for 2007.

I receive this error after I open a certain application. I can drag the
error out of the way and continue working, but if I choose to send the report
or debug, it closes the application. I have uninstalled both Office 2007 and
the application and reinstalled. I tried renaming the olmapi32.dll file and
then run the detect and repair. Still get the error. I can log into my pc as
a different user and I do not get the error. there are 4 others in my office
that upgraded and use the same application and they don't get the error.

Any help would be appreciated.

I had the same problem. Here's what worked for me:

1) Close Outlook 2007.
2) Click the Windows "Start" button and select "Run..." to launch the
Run dialog box.
3) Type "regedit" (without the quotation marks) and click "OK" to
launch the registry editor.
4) Before you make any changes to your registry file, be sure to make a
backup copy in case an edit leads to unforeseen problems. In the
left-hand pane, select and highlight "My Computer." From the menu,
select "File" and click on "Export..." Choose the location where you
want to save your backup copy and specify a name for the backup file.
Click "OK" to save. (Saving may take a minute as you're saving the
entire registry.)
5) From the menu, select "Edit" and click on "Find..." to launch the
search box for the registry editor. Type "olmapi32" (without the
quotation marks) and click "Find Next."
6) The first entry your search should find should be in the following
folder location:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Components\613B99D5CFD7FCB4793B500086BB4113]
(note that the last string of numbers may be different on your system).
If that's not the first instance of "olmapi32" that the search finds,
press the "F3" button on your keyboard to find the next entry for your
search term. Do so until you find the search result for the location
above.
7) In the right-hand pane, select and highlight the entry containing
the term "olmapi32.dll" and press the "Delete" button on your keyboard.
Click "Yes" when asked "Are you sure you want to delete this value?" to
delete the entry.
8) Close the Registry Editor.
9) Launch Outlook 2007 without the "olmapi32.dll" problem.

This worked for me, so I hope it does the trick for you as well!
