OLPP Cube Failure

We have been getting the following error now for the past
week and have not been able to figure it out.

"The cube scheduled to be built on 11/7/2003 at 6:38am
failed. (457) The key is already associated with an
element of this collection."

Until the time we starting getting this specific error,
the cube ran correctly but the notation under Current Cube
Status was ... "The cube ran successfully with errors".

I would sure like to hear from anyone who has experienced
this problem.

The symptoms you're experiencing is a trickle-down effect resulting from the
condition described in the following KB article:

First save copies of the the good versions of your projects as mpp files as
backups in case.
Next delete the dupes
Get the hot fix from Microsoft
Apply the patch
Your cube should rebuild as long as the duplicate records are removed, even
if the patch isn't yet applied.
