Omni Page Pro and Word

I scanned a doc in word using omni page as the aquiring scanner. Since that time every time I open Word the scanned doc appears. I was getting the same thing in Outlook when I sent a reply or created a new email. This was fixed when I did an Office repair. I've talked to Scan Soft tech support and their only answer is to do an Office repair (which didn't work in Word) or do a reinstall. Anyone have any ideas?

Problem solved. Was not easy, but thanks. I now have a bigger problem. "Scan Soft" had me do a reinstal/repair. I choose "detect and repair errors in my office installation". I now have a new version of "Outlook". Naturally it's been awhile since I last did a backup of my contac and email info. That info has all gone away, like I just installed Outlook. What the heck happened and where did my contact info file go?

I'm glad you got Word fixed, but your choosing to do what ScanSoft suggested was "unnecessary force" for such a minor problem in Word... what I suggested would also have fixed Word but without affecting Outlook or any of your other Office programs. I don't use Outlook, so I don't know what to tell you about your contacts... if you don't receive a solution from someone else in this group, you might post a new question in microsoft.public.outlook.contacts. Good luck.
