We're running a win server std 2003 64bit.
Trying to connect Access 2007 via ODBC to oracle DB.
From "MS ODBC Administrator" we can test connect to the remote oracle DB
From Oracle SQL-net we can connect to the remote oracle DB
So Oracle tnsnames ... are functional and working.
But when we try to setup a ODBC link from MS-Access & Excel connection
fails with
"Drivers SQLsetconnectAttr failed"
On the net there's numerous people with the same problem but there's no
resolution or work around.
Closest:
The 32-bit version of the Odbcad32.exe file is located in the
%systemdrive%\Windows\SysWoW64 folder.
The 64-bit version of the Odbcad32.exe file is located in the
%systemdrive%\Windows\System32 folder.
But how do I get Office to use the 64-bit version of the Odbcad32.exe file
located in the %systemdrive%\Windows\System32 folder?
I need urgent help here please?
