on behalf of; in the from position OUTLOOK 2003

I belong to several Yahoo groups. I don't know if this is an OUTLOOK 2003
SP1 (WIN XP SP2)
feature or a Yahoo feature.

About a month ago I noticed that email that I download via POP3 now has in
the from
position: EXAMPLE: (e-mail address removed); on behalf of;
(e-mail address removed)

However, when I look at the mail via webmail I see the From and the Reply
To listed correctly

Has there been some type of change with OUTLOOK?

No, it is Yahoo!Groups - many of us noticed this as well. It is Yahoo!
trying to be RFC compliant but causing a lot of problems for those who read
the lists in their email client that may not be properly configured to show
the correct sender.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, HAL asked:
