On line calendar send to group rec'd operation failed???

I created a calendar for my Knights of Columbus council, I am using Outlook
2007. I have a group designated. When I went to send/share my new calendar
the response came back Operation Failed. Any help will be appreciated

Group = distribution list? Did you import it or create it in Outlook?
How are you sharing the calendar?

Regarding sharing. I was attempting to notify the group that the calendar had
been posted on the internet and they could access it.
