ON loads slow

In the last weeks in takes too long ON to open itself. I do not use tray
icon of ON but just start the program from the programs menu. It used to
open in a few seconds but now it takes about a minute to have the ON screen.
And I don't know why. It is not the case that my notebook size has changed
much or so. Also I use the same notebooks at work where I do not have such a
problem.

What might be the reason?

I use windows 7 and ON beta 2010.

Normaslly on a usb device. But I don’t open ON from the usb device. My
problem happens when I open ON working offline.

As a test what if you move one of the notebooks to the C: drive and see if
it opens fast then.

You might also try deleting the cache file (while you have the USB drive
handy), then start OneNote (with the USB drive inserted) and let OneNote
rebuild the cache.
