OnActivate does not fire on popup report (BUG ???)

Hi,

I have a popup report and I noticed that the OnActivate event does not fire
if the report popup property is set to true.

Is this normal behaviour (feature) or is this a bug in Access 2003.

I think it's normal behavior, though it isn't clearly documented. I
don't have Access 2003, but Access 97 and 2002 both show the same
behavior, and the A97 help file entry for Activate and Deactivate says:

Note The Deactivate event doesn't occur when a form or report loses
the focus to a dialog box, to a form for which the PopUp property is set
to Yes, or to a window in another application.
</quote>

While that only talks about the Deactivate event, and a form or report
losing focus to a popup form, I suspect that underlying that is an
arrangement whereby popup forms (or reports) don't count as far as
Activate and Deactivate are concerned.
