Hi all

Can anyone tell me if One Note 2007 would work with Office Xp (2002 Version)

Thanks for your help

What do you mean by "work with"?

OneNote 2007 will work just fine on a machine with Office XP installed.

Are you looking for interaction between Office XP and OneNote?

I have been running ON2007 with XP SP2 since I got my Tablet PC. It has
worked flawlessly. I use ON2007 as my daily diary for taking notes in
meetings, just like I used to keep a written one. Because of the seamless
interface between Outlook and ON, I have a completely linked and searchable
source for all of my notes. In terms of taking care of everyday business, ON
has changed the way I work. This is not a paid commercial for MS!

I have been using ON2007 for about 15 months. What a wonderful tool!! I got
my manager to start using it and the company has now made it available to our
group of ~30 engineers.

I was curious, how do you use Outlook and ON together? Is it the send e-mail
to ON, task creations, etc.? I may not be using it to its full potential. We
are using Outlook 2007 and ON 2007. thanks!

For the really fine features of interaction between Outlook and ON
Outlook 2007 is needed (some of the features work with Outlook 2003 too,
but it's not the optimum).

For all other Office apps the version of Office is not relevant.

I'd suggest that after having gone through the article John recommended
you open a new thread and ask your specific questions.

I use OneNote like a daily note book. The structure is as follows:
File = year
Section = Month (12 per file)
Pages = Days & Notes

- I start with one page for each day of the month.
- As meetings are scheduled, I send them to ON where a new page is created.
It will send the attachments also
- In ON, I then move the newly created page (meeting) under the day in which
it occurs and group the two pages.

This probably sounds like a real mess but it works really great. Send me
you em and I will send you a sample page.
