One of my files in word 2000 got set to read-only

Dear All,

One of my files in word 2000 got set to read-only when I tried to copy and
paste from the web and it locked up and I had to cancel it.

I can't get it unlocked now. I never had any options set
in the save to cause this.

Also, when I clicked the general forums, i got directed here instead for
some reason.

Any suggestions?

Update:

It was the Winword.exe app that was causing the lockup.

After a hard reboot, everything is fine now.
