One User of InfoPath gets Using old form and Form Contains schema

I have republished a form in SharePoint. Many users have no trouble opening
the old files in the form library.

One user gets an error: 'Using old form'. He gets to choose to open with old
form or not. If he chooses no nothing happens. If he selects yes he gets
'form contains schema validation errors' message and cannot open the old
form.

He can select create new form and that is fine. I also emailed him the old
file and he received the same error messages.

Is there a 'residual' form on his system?

Hi John,

Try clearing the cache from the system. If any residual template is there on
the system it gets cleared.
