Onenote drag to Outlook

Will Onenote 2010 allow me to drag one note content to Outlook? I would like
to store onenote pages in Outlook folders much like I can store word/excel
files in there presently.

NO!
Except sending Tasks from ON to Outlook it's just a one-way-street
(Outlook to OneNote).
There are no features for dragging things from ON to OL.

And I really do not know *where* in Outlook you might want to keep/store
content from ON. :-( :-(

Not really. You can store .one files in an Outlook store, but you cannot
sync changes to that location. You would have to copy it out of the OL
store, make your changes, then exit Onenote and drag the new copy of the .one
file back into the store.

Outlook isn't an especially good file system anyhow - most of my clients are
trying to figure out how to get documents, files and attachments OUT of
Outlook, not into it.

The problem with storing files IN Outlook is that the Outlook data store
gets inefficient (and on older versions actually corrupt) when it approaches
very large sizes. Accordingly it just doesn't make sense to stuff it full
of documents and files.

Use links instead, Outlook will be happier. :)

Oh, offhand I could think of a couple of reasons. What about taking
data from a OneNote note and putting it into an email? Or maybe into
the comments area of a contact?
