OneNote Mobile missing in Change Content Sync Settings

I love ON, and frequently write notes on my PPC mobile version. But th
notes are not syncing with my laptop running ON. When I go into WMDC t
check the content sync settings, OneNote Mobile is not listed as a
option to synchronize. This began when I upgraded PPC phones (XV6700 t
XV6800). How do I get my notes to synchronize? I've already removed O
Mobile from my PPC (Settings menu) but it is still there, as if it is
part of Windows Mobile 6.1 (the programs are in the Windows folder o
the PPC)

Any ideas

Try to uninstall ON Mobile using the PPC's uninstall.
Then re-install ON Mobile through ON (Tools > Options > OneNote Mobile).

It should be removable even if it came with the PPC.
Applications sitting in the Windows directory can be uninstalled.
Unfortunately I can not say how it works as I have not yet done it under
WM5 (only under PPC2002 and that was long ago) :-(

I'd suggest that you might ask in a PPC newsgroup/forum.

I finally found the solution via John Guin one of the OneNote
developers. It was a matter of adding the required items to the
registry on the PC, not the device. The development team sent me
the correct registry items to import into my registry, and it works
flawlessly now.

Thanks for the success-report.
Mist interesting solution.
If anyone wishes to know what that registry import contained, let me
know.

Yes, in case if future cases I would be glad could you let me have the
fox.
Pls mail me under "taesler [at] web [.] de.
