OneNote or Outlook for Smartphone?

I recently bought a laptop with Vista -- a decision I now somewhat regret.
Both my cell phone and PDA are near death and I plan to buy a
Vista-compatible Smart Device 6800 from Sprint when it is released next
month. Meanwhile my trial versions of Office are about the expire on the
laptop. I've got to decide which Office package to buy and top priority will
be compatibility with the Smart Device.
I like the format and price of OneNote very much, but am concerned --
based partly on posts reviewed here -- that OneNote Mobile may be too
glitchy. Should I take a chance on it or shell out the big bucks for good
old reliable Outlook?

What are you looking to do? OneNote and Outlook are completely different
programs designed to do 2 different things.

If you search around on the MS Office site, you will find several flavors
of Office which contain both Outlook and OneNote.

I do a lot of research and need to organize information. Originally I did
one of those online "test drives" of what I thought was OneNote 2007, but I
think I acidentally linked to Outlook 2007 instead. It made me think that
OneNote was a funkier way to do OUtlook stuff. I went back later, and
actually got connected to OneNote and realized it was a different animal.
It's still pretty cool though -- and very useful for what I do. I think I
will go for both. Thanks.
