OneNote pages and sections disappear on 2nd level of section group

We have created section groups with section groups. When navigating to a
second tier section group, the section tabs on the top
and the pages/sub-pages on the right side disappear.

We can navigate to the deeper embedded section and section groups by using
the navigation on the left. The problem is that we can't browse to any of
the pages or sub-pages for these deeper sections.

Is there a setting to change this?

They reappear when one clicks the green return arrow to the right of the
section headings

Do you have nested section groups (section groups within section groups)?

I determined that this was only one section group with the problem. The
section group was moved from another notebook. Some how the section group
was corrupted. I was able to save the sections in it by moving them to a new
section.

Thanks for the success report!
Saves me from continuing with my test-series <g>.
Normally there is no problem with "nested" section groups.
