OneNote should fully support WACOM pens on Desktops/Laptops

For the Tablet PC functions - OneNote ties to Ink on Tablet PCs, not within
Office - you would need the Tablet PC SDK on a desktop. If you haven't
already, you should post to the programmers newsgroup for Tablets -
microsoft.public.windows.tabletpc.developer - with your developer questions.

Dear All,

I am quite surprised on the reaction this has generated. This tells me this
is something MS needs to look into.

And on the resolution issue, I have taken a quick look at Wacom's specs at

http://www.wacom-europe.com/int/products/graphire/specs.asp?lang=en

Wacom claim the resolutions to be at 2,032 lpi, surely this puts a pen
resolutin absolutely above those of a mouse, so I beg to disagree that
Desktop pens are in the same class as a mouse. And if you ask me, 2032 lines
per inch is more that enough for charachter recognition. OCR programs do it
for less, and we are talking of fine prints here.

Ok, maybe a desktop pen is not that resolute as that of a tablet PC, still
it is better than a mouse as far as writing is concerned. Just tell us, MS
has marketing policy as far as this issue is concerned, don't blame
technology.

Thanks all for your attention.
