I have just moved to MAC and I'm trying to find a definative answer to when OneNote for Mac is being launched. I see lots of requests for ON on forums but they're all without response. I've tried Circus Pony but it lacks the simple usability of OneNote. Please can we have OneNote for Mac that works with entourage??

Probably you should make that request direct to Microsoft. Doubt they
watch this newsgroup.

FYI, I used OneNote extensively when I was Windows only. Now I run a
Macbook and have Windows inside of VMware Fusion. While I don't use
OneNote any more to the extent I used to, it is very usable inside of
VMware Fusion and if you just can't get along without it, it will work
fine for you. Especially if you continue using Outlook and other Office
apps.

I've evolved to using Mac Mail and OmniFocus (love how it integrates
with the iPhone which OneNote cannot) which has taken me away from
Outlook and OneNote.

Office 2010 for Windows will have a web based version of OneNote but I
wouldn't expect it to have the same functionality of the desktop version.
Office 2010 is presently in public beta and will be out some time in 2010.
The next version of Mac Office is expected in late 2010 or early 2011 with
no word on whether it will include a Mac version of OneNote but Entourage
will be replaced with Outlook in future Mac Office releases so there may be
hope for the possible addition of OneNote in the future.

OneNote is *almost* available. This week you can use Skydrive to access
the web versions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. OneNote is on the menu,
but if you try to use OneNote you get "Still to come...
OneNote is not currently available. We are working on it though."
