Why will onenote not be maid for mac? There is nothing thus far that I have
seen that compares to onenote. I know allot a people that use it. My only
disappointment I have with switching to mac is ONENOTE. Now that they have
the Ipad and still no onenote frustrates me.

Because it would be a significant expense to port OneNote to the Mac and
despite all the buzz Macs still represent a small fraction of the total PC
market.

Because Mac users who really want OneNote can already run it under Parallels
or Bootcamp or similar.

Because OneNote Web Apps will be available very shortly which should run on
any machine with a supported web browser.

With a rather limited set of features.
Right?

This argument -- why doesn't [blank] run on my Mac? -- always pisses
me off, listening to someone whine and moan about how this or that
doesn't run on the platform they've chosen. From the very early days
of the Apple II Plus -- which now makes me officially an "old fart" :)
-- I always told people to decide what it is they want to do with the
computer, and THEN buy the platform that runs what they want.

Don't cry to me about how you bought a Mac and now can't run the stuff
that the PC has. You should have thought of that before you plunked
down the bucks. If you make a stupid purchasing decision, live with
it, but quit whining. The rest of us who actually USE our heads for
something other than a hat rack don't need to hear it.
