Online Broadcast question

Does anyone know of anything that will allow me to run four different
powerpoint presentations from one laptop, and show it on four individual
laptops with the ability to do realtime updates?
I want to be able to sit at a remote desk and control the powerpoint
presentations running in four different rooms. The presentations are
agendas that needs to be updated if a speaker does not show or is delayed.
I want to be able, from the controlling laptop, to change the slides and
update the broadcast in realtime.
Can this be done?

The five laptops will be on a peer to peer network running windows xp pro
and office xp pro.

I've come across a feature in powerpoint xp called online broadcast that
will allow me to broadcast a presentation to a laptop, but if I edit the
slides, it does not change on the broadcast. And also, this feature only
allows one instance.

Have you looked at Producer for PowerPoint? If not it's a free download
from the MS site.

If all machines are running Windows XP, then you might want to try Remote
Assistance that is included with Windows XP. Using Remote Assistance, you
would be able to control the remote machines (see its desktop and work on
that machine) through your controlling laptop.

I think when using the remote desktop feature to log into a pc, it locks the
session, therefore the external display will be the locked desktop. I've
tried that, hoping that it would be the solution, but it didn't work out.
However, these plugins, Datapoint and Showpoint, might just be the solution
to my problem. I'll give them a try. Thanks.
