online clipart search

MS online clipart doesn't allow searching for media using a boolean
reference. For example: dogs and books returns no results. But separately,
dogs shows results. Books shows results. I tried to find an advanced search
option and tried different search strings. The MS Online help doesn't mention
boolean strings..... not sure how to get a clipart of a dog and a book
(example). Curently using Office 2003.

It's not just Boolean searches; any search string with more than one word
will often be rejected. I find this extremely limiting and usually end up
throwing in the towel and using Google Image search instead.

One way is to use the category search. For example, animals, then the keyword
book. You will get fewer hits, easier to browse through. In your example, there
were no dogs with books.
