Online clipart through Firefox

I can't seem to be able to import/open clipart from online when using
Firefox. It says that "clip gallery can only be launched from office".
I've tried saving it to my desktop and then opening and/or importing and
that doesn't work either. Has anyone found a way around this?

IE is SOOOO slow on my computer--about all I see if the spinning beachball.
Besides, I detest IE--way too outdated.

I don't think that it's a cache problem, but I did find another forum online
that showed the solution. For some reason, when it downloads, it loses it's
".cil" extension. All I need to do is add that extension back onto the file
once it's downloaded and then double click on it.

Is there something within Firefox that would cause it to loose this
extension upon download?
