Only 4 colums available for View Type Timesheet

Using Manage Views (from Server Settings) I wanted to created a new view of
the type Timesheet. There occur only 4 available fields - not the ones I was
looking for ;-).
When looking at the default existing view "My Timesheet", the same 4
available fields were there, but here no displayed fields. I expected there
to see at least the visible fields in the timesheet (that uses the view "My
Timesheet")

How can I create a timesheet view with other colums?

Hi Marc,

what will do the trick is the possibilty to add 'Remaining Work' on the
default view "My timesheet". In the view "Tasks Summary", that is one of the
available fields.

The ideal situation would be in the timesheet:

0 "Task name"
1 "Baseline work"
2 "Actual work"
3 <Actual work done in timesheet period>
4 "Remaining work"
5 <EstimateAtCompletion> = 2+3+4
6 "Task Variance" = 1-5

Hi Raymond,

yeah wouldnt that be nice :) unfortunatly you cannot include these fields
into the timesheet. The reason for this is because timesheet and taskupdate
are seperate functionalities, meaning you will need to update your timesheet
and then you will need to import that data into your task update ( under my
tasks) once you have done this, you can update remaining work etc. Sorry
mate, I am hoping that the integration between timesheet and taskupdate will
become much thighter again in the next release.

Hi Marc,

bad news for me, but your reply was very helpful indeed.
The way you describe the concept of updatig taskinformation can work for us,
I will make a POC of it. At the moment, I am not able to update any task data
under `My Tasks`, There starts my puzzle.
