I am running Word 2000 and Windows XP Home. When double
clicking a Word File in My Computer or Windows Explorer,
only the Word Application opens, not the file itself.
Then, if I go back to My Computer and double click the
file again, then the file opens. I have found references
to this problem, but no solutions. Re-registering Word by
running winword /r does not fix this problem.
Does anyone know what to do about this?
