I have a large organisation chart created in P/P 2000 which I now want to
take into PP 2007. Any idea how I can do this without installing the
Organisation Chart add-in which it is asking for? Thanks for any help

If you need to continue editing the org chart AS an org chart, you'll need
to install the add-in as requested.

Otherwise, if you can see the chart at all, try ungrouping it. Otherwise,
you may need to find someone with a copy of PPT 2003 or previous; ungroup
the chart there, then insert the slide into your presentation in PPT 2007.

Thanks for that Steve, I was hoping to get the functionality of org charts in
2007 without having to redo all of my large chart. The problem I have is that
it is updated every month and don't really want to ungroup unless there is a
way of regrouping and getting 2007 to recognise as an org chart. I'm
surprised (but not very!) that MS have not made it possible to upgrade this
item more easily.....

Hi Steve

Yes, I have installed it but this then only gives me the basic functionality
of the org software and I can't get more than about 12 boxes in 1 line
without it telling me I have run out of space. The later versions will allow
me to do this which is why I was hoping to upgrade in some way. Maybe I am
missing something obvious here.....thanks for your help

Hi Steve

Yes, I'm u'g from Office 2000 which used the very basic orgchart software.
I'd like to take that chart and convert it to a Powerpoint 2007 org chart.....
