OORPC clients unable to archive.

I have a client that is unable to archive - a pst file is created but is
empty and the existing data stays in place.

Is this a known issue with outlook over RPC?

Not that I'm aware of. Check the modified dates to verify that he has
content that meets the archive conditions.
