open a file on MS word, and the internet connection icon shows activity for a
few seconds and files is slow to open. disabled automated link and no
associtaion in customs section of properties. McAffe does not see a virus on
all hard-drive. no cookies are left in temp internet files. not all files do
this.
disconneted internet connection, file opens quickly.

also noticed that opening the font format, cause the interned icon activity.

why does this happens?
How do I fix this to stop the internet connection and slow file open?
