Open a report in an external database

I tried to use this code from mvps.org.
It works very well with Access97. But when I convert to an A2000 MDE this
error occurs: "error 2046 action not available". With A2000 MDB is ok. Only
with MDE 2000 I encounter this error.
Please help me.
