Open and Save Excel file on the internet

Hi,

Is it possible to open and save an Excel file through internet by its
automation?

My program needs to open an Excel file on internet and add some rows of data
to different sheet then save the file back to its internet location. All
actions
should be invisible to the user. I am VC++, but any sample in either VB or
VC++
would help. Thanks,
