Hi,

I'm using Outlook 2003, When I double click attached file in an e-mail a
dialog appear and asked me either I want to open that attachment or save on a
particular place, in this dialog an option also available with check box that
either this option appear in future. I checked this option and open attached
file. Now this dialog is not appearing for any e-mail because I was checked
allowed to open all e-mail with out asking me. Now I want to reset my setting
back for this option. I explore almost every option in Option, E-mail account
setting etc. but I'm unable to reset this setting. If anybody knows let me
know that how can I set attachment option to asked me either I saved or open
attachment.

Select that file type in the File Types tab of Folder Options in Control
Panel. Select Advanced and check "Confirm Open after download".

In Explorer or Control Panel, use Folder Options to look under the
FileTypes tab for the filetype and change the advanced option "Confirm
open after download".
