open attachments in messages stores in network drive

I can not open attachments to messages stored in a unit of network

the error which is operation failed. An object could not be found

I'm a little confused. Attachments are stored in a message, not on a network
drive.

Can you clarify exactly what's happening? Let me try to help out a little
bit.

First, what type and version of server? Exchange? POP/IMAP?

What type of attachments are causing the problem?

Do any attachments work?

Are you able to save attachments locally and open them?
