Im having a very strange problem with access 97 running on a windows XP
pc.
When I am logged on as a domain user and I try to run code that trys to
open COM1 and send data to the attached printer I get an access denied,
error '75' message.
When I am logged on as a basic local user I can run the code without
any problems.
I can access the serial port through any other program at all times so
it is not my domain permissions blocking the port and I have disabled
all group policies and attempted to run the code then, it still gives
me the access denied message.
I have been working on this for a month now and am getting a little
tired of it, has anybody got any suggestions?
Regards
Ian
