open dialog box in powerpoint addin

hi
i want to add an addin to powerpoint and i want to send
the slide change trigger to a file.
i was able to do that my manually giving the file name.
but i want to select a file from another computer
connected in LAN. for that i need the open dialog box. how
to call the open dialog box ?

i have posted this question some days back and Steve
Rindsberg told to search
http://www.mvps.org/vbnet/. but i couldn't find the
relevant macro.

please help

Now i want to write to a socket, the slide number (while
running the slide show).
can any one give me a link to start with
