Open document on windows 95 in windows XPWindows XP

I am currently using micrsoft Xp, I cannot open a document that was saved in
windows 95 on a
3 1/2 floppy disc. How do I resolve this.

Neither "Microsoft XP" nor Windows 95 is capable of creating documents.
