Open face fonts

I used to be able to use VAG font in VISIO 2002. The subsequent versions
(2003 and 2007) do not support this font. I have thousands of files that I
have to use this font so therefore I have to keep a copy of version 2002 on
my computer. Will open face fonts ever become supportable by VISIO in the
future?

What type of font is your VAG font? (TrueType, OpenType or, more
likely, one of Adobe's font formats?)
Visio only supports TrueType and OpenType.
