Open file on Lan

While trying to open a file I just created 1 hour earlier
on our LAN I now get a message that the file is outside my
Internet or on an untrusted site and MS Access will not
open it for security precautions. Why is this as it is
just a drive\folder on our LAN

"Microsoft Access cannot open this file. This file is located outside
your intranet or on an untrusted site. Microsoft Access will not open
the file due to potential security problems. To open the file, copy
it to your machine or an accessible network location."

Many Thanks, drive was mapped using IP address, changed to
using server/share and all is well.
