Open file problem

When I double click my current excel file,I can not open the file,but open
excel program.Any body out there have any ideas?

In Excel, click on Tools | Options | General | uncheck the
"Ignore other applications" box | OK.

If the above doesn't help, then close Excel and re-register Excel
in Windows by clicking on Start | Run, and in the Open box, type:

excel /unregserver

and click on OK. Again click on Start | Run, and type:

excel /regserver

and click on OK.

You need to check if COMPATIBILITY MODE is turned on for that application. Go
to Start > Pprograms, and then right-click the program to get the Properties
popup. In the Microsoft Office xxxx 2007 Properties, uncheck the box "Run
this program in compatbility mode for:--- This solved it for me.
