Open file

everytime that I want to open a file (from a server) it
has a delay of 20 seconds to open.... do you know why ?

using, the operating system and network operating system you are
using. :)

we are using windows 2000 proffesional with SP3 and office
2000...
the problem is not with all documents.... it is happening
with only a few ...

If it is only happening with a few documents then once they open go to
Tools/Templates and Add-ins and note the attached template.

If Word is looking for a template that is no longer available then
that would explain the delay. If that is the case, post back and we
can offer some workarounds to this issue.
