open last doc automatically when Word starts

Word 2000 SP3. When starting Word is there a way to have the last
document worked on open automatically?

I couldn't find anything. I'm pretty sure that WordPerfect has this option
but not Word, apparently. Or maybe it's that WordPerfect will take you to
the place you were last working IN a particular document (once open it in
the usual way).
