Open last file worked on

Charlie

I can open the last file I worked on in Word by doubleclicking on an icon
with
"c:\program files\office 11\winword.exe" /mFile1
as the target. Also I can have /mFile2 to get the second previous file, and
so on.

Is there a similar way to do this in PowerPoint? The /mFile1 command
line item is not shown on the MS KnowBase, and does not work for Powerpoint.

Thanks.

If I undertand your question correctly, the answer is yes. You should have a
list of recent files in your File drop down menu. If not go to Tool > Options
General, then write in the desired number of recent files you want to show
in the dropdown menu.
