open new browser with hyperlink

Using Publisher I want to creat a hyperlink that opens a new browser. How?

I found a post that said creating a hyperlink that opens a new browser
instructions could be found in faq at

but I can't find any reference to it.

Thank you! It was right there on top. Now I have to digest this and see if
I can do it. (Pretty new to web publishing).

Had to come back and thank you again DavidF. The link you supplied was right
on target.

Without knowing any html (and with a little other help) I was able to view
source from the main page and add the target="_.blank" to each of the seven
photo galleries I have linked to a home page and save it. Then just upload
the new index.html file. Now when you click the link on the main page a new
browser opens. Cool!

You are welcome, and congrats. Building a site can be frustrating, and
occasionally rewarding when you figure out how to do something, eh?

The next time you need to edit that page, I would suggest you also learn how
to use the insert html code fragment. The advantage of that is you will not
have to go in and edit the code via notepad. It will save you lots of time
in the future...
