open older version of excel in excel 2002

Hi,
I just got this excel 2002 instal in my computer.
I can not open any of my earlier verion of excel 2002.
Please advise what I should do.

Excel 2002 can open previous Excel versions - what version Excel file are
you trying to open?

There should not be any problems opening older versions
of files Excel can always read them unless they are
corrupted.

Try opening the files in Windows Explorer Double click on
the file name and see if that works.

You could create a new simple file, save it and close it.
Then open it to make sure that works.

Last resort is to reinstall Excel and try again.
