Open ppt. in edit mode that is embedded in word?

When I open the ppt. that is embedded in word it will open in presentation
mode. Does anyone know how to fix it to where it will open in edit mode and
not presentation?

Right click on it, point to Presentation object on the shortcut menu, and
click Edit.
