Open with...

When I'm in my folders, one file has a different icon than all of the others. When I try to open it, it asks me what program I want to open it up with. I always click "FrontPage HTML". How can I permanently have this open directly to the appropriate program. I think it's causing some problems with some links on that page. They are correct, but when I check the browser it says that the page can't be displayed

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

BJ:
The filename *should* be in this format: filename.xxx The 'xxx' is the
file extension.

None of those, it looks like the "Windows" icon.

File Extension? I looked in properties and under file type it says
"Unknown file type (.)" Am I looking in the right place?

What does the icon look like? Any of these:

better
question is, what is the file extension of the file?

Thank you, there was no extention labeled after the file name, so I added it and it's working like a charm. Thanks again, bj

htm...is that wrong? I changed it in the "Web Site" part of FP. In the column, "Name", all of my other file have that extension, so I just changed it on that page. Is that going to cause more problems?

No, not at all - as long as it's a web page - you did exactly the right
thing. :)
