Open Word 2003 error Code Execution has been interrupted

I get an error message whenever I open Word 2003. It says Code Execution
has been interrupted and gives me the choices of Continue End Help. I have
tried all and it comes up every time I open. The Debug option is not
available. How can I fix this and what caused the problem? Does anyone
know? I have tried a fix and detect (or whatever it is) and that doesn't
help.
