Open WORD in "Open" mode

Dave

When I double-click on the "WORD" icon, the program opens
in "Document 1" mode, ready to create a new document.

What change(s) do I need to make to get WORD to open
in "open" mode; that is, to bring up a window with all of
the "My Documents" files listed, so I can click on one or
more file names to open them in separate windows?

(I have WORD 2002, SP2) Thanks.

Hi Dave,

Make a copy of the Word icon on the desktop. Right-click the copy and
select Properties. In the Target box, put the cursor at the end of the
text that's already there (which ends with WINWORD.EXE" ), then type a
space and

/mFileOpen

Click OK. Double-click that icon, and Word should open with the File >
Open dialog showing.
